Yoshi is a dinosaur character in the Super Mario franchise, first appearing in Super Mario World (1990) for the SNES. Yoshi was Mario's childhood friend who helped rescue baby Luigi from Bowser, and later became Mario's loyal steed-like companion who can eat enemies with his long tongue and lay eggs. Yoshi comes in many colors (green, red, blue, yellow, pink), but green is the classic and most iconic. Yoshi has starred in his own franchise including Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, and Yoshi's Crafted World. His friendly, approachable design has made him a mascot beloved by children.

This 16×16 grid (256 beads) captures Yoshi's friendly silhouette. Green body, white belly and eye, light green accents, red spikes/saddle, orange for the boots, and black details. The large round white eyes and big snout are the most important features — they give Yoshi his gentle expression. The row of red spikes along the back and the orange boots at the bottom are signature details. At 6 colors, this is a larger medium-difficulty pattern — plan for about 1.5 hours.
