Background: Totoro
Totoro is the titular character from Hayao Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli film 'My Neighbor Totoro' (1988). A giant forest spirit resembling a chinchilla-cat hybrid, Totoro is visible only to children. He befriends sisters Satsuki and Mei as they move to the countryside, introducing them to a world of magic and wonder.
