Background: Snorlax

Snorlax is a Normal-type Pokémon (Pokédex #143) famous for its enormous size and constant sleeping. First appearing in Pokémon Red & Green (1996), Snorlax weighs over 1000 lbs and eats 400 lbs of food per day, then falls asleep and refuses to move — often blocking roads in the games. In the anime, Ash caught a Snorlax that became one of his most powerful battlers despite its lazy nature. Snorlax's design — a huge round body, cream-colored belly, pointy ears, and two fangs — makes it both intimidating and adorable. In the games, wild Snorlax famously block routes 12 and 16, requiring a Poké Flute to wake them.

Design Notes: 16×14 Pixel Composition

This 16×14 grid (224 beads) is one of the larger medium-to-hard patterns. The body is dominated by dark teal-blue fur with a large cream belly patch. The two pointy ears, small closed eyes, and two visible fangs are the key character details. The roundness of the body silhouette is essential — Snorlax should look bulky and content. At 7 colors, this is a rewarding project for experienced crafters; allow 1.5-2 hours.
